La Vieja Casona, dated from the XVIIth century, was enlarged in 1880. It was a stop and refreshment stand for the carriages of that time, as well as a store of home-made wine and flour, ropes for the carriages, food, tools,... It was remodelled in 1989 keeping the traditional and rural taste with stones and wood. Its facilities are in continuous progress offering the customer all complementary services.

Located in La Vega de LiČbana, a village of around 160 inhabitants, at 8 km from Potes and in a rich valley at 460 m above the sea level, a Vieja Casona tries to be part of the rural and urban environment.
